After my wife and I got married, we had plans about how we wanted to do things. I was going to go to college, and she was going to work as a real estate agent full time. Unfortunately, when we found out that she was pregnant, I realized that I was going to have to find a career fast. I didn't have time for a four year program followed by graduate school, so I started looking for alternatives. Fortunately, a friend of mine suggested trade school, and I went in for an appointment with a counselor. I was able to get into a rewarding career as an HVAC technician.
